Pretty 19th century porcelain comport by Minton with a Christopher Dresser designed "Japanese Cloisonne" turquoise and enamel outer border and finely painted exotic bird in the centre (I think it may be a black hooded sierra finch!). set up on a moulded scrolled footed vase also in the same turquoise and enamels. Impressed mark to the rim underneath.

It measures 9 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" high. Condition is very good. There is a small chip to the back at the edge, which cannot be viewed from the front and light surface wear.
