Description

Pretty lozenge shaped blue and white Chelsea Derby dish beautifully painted with a central gilliflower and with chantilly style sprigs. Lobed shape with a textured basket weave edge and with the Nottingham road mark of blue D under a crown, c.1775-80.

It measures 22.2cm (8 3/4") long, 17cm (6 5/8") wide and 4cm (1 5/8") high. Condition is very good with just a small section of restoration to the rim at the far left. Light surface wear and minimal to the enamels.
