Description

Very pretty first period Worcester tea bowl & saucer, c.1765. Finely painted in polychrome enamels with a varied frieze of garden flowers and foliage in a ring around the bowl and saucer. A central floral spray to both the saucer and inside the bowl. Gilded rims and bands around the centre of the saucer and top of the bowl foot.

The saucer measures 12cm (4 5/8") wide and 2.5cm (1") high and the bowl is 7.5cm (2 7/8") wide and 4.5cm (1 3/4") high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
