Bow Porcelain Figure Shepherd With Recorder / Pipe

Description
An attractive Bow porcelain figure of a young shepherd on a scrolled base with a dog at his side and plating a recorder. Painted in bright enamels and gilt over a white ground. Red anchor and dagger mark to the base c.1760-1764.Provenance: Highgate Antiques.
It measures 15.8cm (6 1/4") high and 6.3cm (2 1/2") by 6.1cm (2 3/8") wide.
In very good condition. There has been some professional touching up to the hands and flute the porcelain underneath appears fine so it is most likely just repair work underneath rather than fabrication. A small section of the hat brim has been invisibly restored. A flower has been lost from the base and one other appears to have been reattached and lightly touched up. No other issues and very minor handling wear.
