Description

A pretty Coalport dessert serving dish with lobed walls and shaped rim. A deep underglaze mazarine blue ground with four shaped reserves very finely painted with garden flowers and swathes of rich gilding to the frames and over the blue ground and rim. Unmarked, c.1820.

It measures 21.7cm (8 1/2") by 20.3cm (8") wide and 4.2cm (1 5/8") high.

In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and very minor handling / stacking wear.
