Description

Pretty pair of Coalport flower encrusted vases with a pale green ground with reticulated walls to create various leaf shapes in the remaining clay. Ornate strap twin handles also formed as leaves and similar mouldings to the lower part of the body and base. Superb individually modelled flowers and foliage of various forms are applied throughout and the whole body is heavily highlighted with gilding.

They measure 15cm (6") high and 11.5cm (4/ 1/2") by 10cm (4") wide. Condition is very good with no body damage or restoration just the usual minor losses to leaves and petals. There is a little wear to the gilding, please also note one has a gilded rim, the other does not.
