Description

A timepiece table regulator of fantastic quality made by this prestigious company. It has an architectural style walnut case with 7”round flat painted dial, signed Dent, 61 Strand & 34 Royal Exchange London 1929 (Serial Number) and blued steel trefoil hands.
The massive plated movement is a fusee with dead beat escapement and maintaining power and a huge pendulum bob weighing in at 2Kg /4 ½ lbs, and a wooden shaft. It is stamped on the back plate E Dent & Co 61 Strand London 1929. This fine clock dates circa 1870.
