Description

A beautifully proportioned 19th century English Library clock in a satinwood case with glass to front and back doors, and thick beveled side and top glasses. It has a quality English line fusee 8 day movement with London style pendulum, blued steel “moon” hands, painted dial signed Brugger & Beck, Blackman St, Southwark, who are recorded in Brittens as working c.1840. At only 23cm high and in a satinwood case this clock is of lovely size, quality and proportions.
