A delightful little 8 day fusee 5 glass timepiece by the highly regarded maker Frodsham, Gracechurch St, London. Chain fusee, anchor escapement, with overhead regulation pendulum and holdfast. Signed on the backplate and on the engraved, silvered dial. Blued steel hands, gilded sight piece to the door. The rosewood case has choice veneers, lovely proportions and the quality one would expect.C. 1845 Just 9”/23cm
