The diamond is collet & claw set in a platinum illusion setting that frames it beautifully

It measures about 4.8mm
It weighs circa 0.45 carat, but it looks much larger due to the setting
The head is 7.5 mm wide & it stands 7 mm proud of the shank
Size M (UK), 7 1/2 (US) it would easily re size
Shank is marked 18 ct & PLAT.
It dates to the Art Deco period.
It is in excellent original condition
It weighs 3.8 grams
