Late 19th century / early 20th century solid wood milliners hat block mounted on a circular ebonised stand. Traces of old pin marks in the wood and signs of use. Good solid condition with a lovely worn patina. English or French antique.

This solid wood antique milliner's hat block sits on a lovely turned stand and solid round base. This would previously been used by a milliner to display hats within a millinery shop. Now it would make a lovely decorative piece for displaying hats or wigs.
Antique condition therefore signs of prior use, which has resulted in a lovely worn patina.
