Description
Beautiful 20th century oil on board of a Provencale townscape. Attributed to the well-known British artist Warren Storey RWA (1924-2008).Gorgeous pinks and greens evoking a typical Provencale scene, set in a very good quality gilt frame with linen slip.
H41cm x W36cm x D3.5cm
Warren Storey regularly exhibited at the RWA Autumn Exhibition in Bristol, and also in the Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy in London. He painted still life and landscape in an impressionistic style, with a strong sense of design.
