Description

This is a wonderful large carved ‘Black Forest’ type stags head in solid wood and mounted on an oval plaque. It has glass eyes surrounded by eyelashes, carved tear ducts and all-over carved to depict fur. It has been stripped and lightened but could be stained or painted if a darker finish is preferred. We assume the antlers are real.

This is a lovely wall decoration with a quite affable expression unlike most others that appear on the market and look quite sinister!
