Description

This is a good set of fourteen superb quality mahogany balloon back dining chairs. In solid mahogany the serpentine shaped, padded and sprung seats are upholstered in a good quality red coloured rexine trimmed with brass studs.

Each of the side chairs has an open back with a crown shaped toprail and c-scroll carving whilst the carver chairs have a solid upholstered back. Each stands on turned front legs with slightly outswept square tapering legs to the rear and one of the carvers has front castors.

Pleasingly these are also very comfortable.

Condition
These are in good solid condition, there are old repairs to the toprails on two of side chairs but there is no movement, the rexine is a good leather imitation with very few marks but does have split to the front of one seat.
