This is an exceptional suite of late Victorian inlaid bedroom furniture in the Adams style, comprising a large wardrobe, dressing table, wash stand or writing table and bedside cupboard. All are of the finest quality, in mahogany and beautifully inlaid and crossbanded in rosewood, harewood satinwood and tulipwood with pierced backs and cornice. The dressing table, washstand and bedside cupboard all stand on foliate & scroll carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet.

It is unusual to find complete bedroom suites of this age and although not stamped the quality and detail suggest it could be by one of the leading cabinet makers of the period such as Edwards & Roberts, Shoolbred or Maples.
