A very attractive small bracket clock by the renowned maker Purvis. The finely proportioned rosewood case is fitted with gilt side frets and surmounted by a pineapple finial, standing on turned ball feet. The painted dial is signed Purvis, London.

The high-quality eight-day rack-striking movement strikes and repeats the hours on a single bell, and is finely engraved with the maker’s name and address.
