Swedish Biedermeier 4-5 seat sofa couch in Classic light honey color French polish finish with curved arm detailing and ormolu style decorative ends and central motifs in the highest quality quilted golden birch veneers.

Good example of the Swedish Biedermeier style and has a very satisfying curve to the legs and lots of carved detailing

It is a real impact piece with the swooping arms and a very comfortable seat for added comfort.

It is also very rare as we believe that there may also be some sort of bed storage underneath the seat with what looks like a mattress in it but we cannot confirm what it is without removing the upholstery. We have added a photo for you to see.

Your upholsterer can remove whatever is present underneath when reupholstering if you don't want it in place.

The sofa back is webbed we think and very comfortable.

The sofa will be re-polished prior to shipping to remove any major flaws but we always leave some of the 'life' the sofa has acquired when we re-polish as otherwise it will lose its feeling.

The sofa ships in the original fabric which you may want to change as it has some marks of wear and tear or we can reupholster for you in your supplied top fabric for an extra cost

The sofa back as with all Biedermeier sofas of this period is plain wood rather than veneer, it has a cotton cover over the back pad.
