Exceptionally rare original gentlemans Campaign dressing chest, circa 1820 and in good condition
Hinged lid with a fully fitted interior, hidden mirror, compartments, writing slope, wash basin etc, commode drawer, decanter and tin lined drawer, brass inlaid handles and standing on square tapered legs with castors.
Certainly a piece commissioned by a wealthy or perhaps aristocratic officer to provide some luxury throughout the Napoleonic wars...
Standing 36" high when closed, 28" wide and 21" deep.
Being a period piece, there are some pieces that have been replaced or are missing, but also some great original parts too.
