Rare French late c19th kingsize painted cane bed with full corbielle style frame, being the curved head and foot board. The bed is beautifully carved, in excellent condition and retains its original paint colour and finish which is similar to a Farrow & Ball French grey / Old white, but I can change this if you would rather.
The bed is supplied with a fitted supporting box base which we make to fit the frame and will then hold your mattress. I can help you with mattresses too, being so curved, this bed does really need a bespoke mattress ( to give you an idea a 3000 spring mattress curved all round would be £1200 ) or if you happen to use a memory foam mattress, it'll squish in nicely!
Headboard is 48'' high.
