Description

Rare Dutch oak cabinet primary early 18th century with some 17th century parts. Original specific use unknown but with quality of carvings and holdings it was obviously a important piece. 2 doors with walnut panels flanked with barley twist column open to reveal 3 shelfs with under drawer with carved front. Below large single drawer appears as a 2 drawer . On the cornice 3 carved 3 carved lion heads with brass drop columns. The sides have 4 matching panels. Feet possibly previously ebonies.
