Very fine quality French antique kingsize bed in mahogany with brass inlay, circa 1900 and in excellent condition
The bed is beautifully made, some lovely mahogany panels, brass fluted columns and these decorative heavy brass acorn finials too
I have the original side rails that join the head end to the foot end, they are exactly the same as the base rail of the footboard panel, so you have three matching side to the bed...very important when buying antique beds to make sure this is the case and ALSO to make sure the side rails are long enough to hold standard UK mattresses...these are!
The bed will hold a standard 5' wide x 6'6'' long kingsize mattress
We supply the bed to you with all supporting frame work and the upholstered supporting box base too
We can offer you various good quality pocket spring mattresses too
