Very pretty and very good condition French paint and gilt double bed with original "vintage" upholstery too, circa 1920
The bed is well carved and gilded, the paint finish has aged nicely, lots of quality and character too
The upholstery being original does have signs of age, but is very beautiful, so I have priced it as is, although no problem to replace it for you in your own choice of fabric ( 6m supplied by you )
We supply the bed with the supporting upholstered box base needed to hold a mattress and all the supporting framework underneath
Mattresses are also available too
The bed will hold a standard double mattress 4'6'' x 6'3''
The headboard is 49'' high and the footboard is 28''
