Very good pair of French walnut louis xv style open armchairs, circa 1890 and in great condition.
Very well carved frames and great proportions for everyday use in comfort. Bigger proportions than the usual examples and also a good height for the back, you will also see there is more carving to the frames than usual...a very good quality pair indeed.
The chairs are ready for re upholstery really, but priced as is...I can assist with the upholstery process if you would like, or you can have them as you see them to use your own upholsterer.
They measure 68 cm wide 98 cm tall 47 cm to the seat hight and 52 cm deep in the seat
They will also be fully cleaned and re polished!
