This is a very fine pair of original French Directoire style armchairs, circa 1880 and, although the current upholstery is long gone, they are in great original condition...priced for you completely re upholstered in your own fabric ( 9m supplied by you )
The frames are beautifully carved and very elegant, full of style and look great from all angles, these are great chairs to "free stand" in the centre of a room
The original French grey / blue and blue highlight is in good condition, though we could repaint them and gilt highlight them if you would rather...please get in touch to discuss options and suggestions
They are a good size chair, comfortable but without being too large, measuring 38'' high x 23'' wide x 20'' deep and with a seat / cushion height of 17''
