Very unusual and very comfortable large French louis xv style painted sofa...circa 1890 and in excellent condition.
This is a good size and very much useable sofa all evening with good full head height giving good support, it is not like many of the typical smaller framed sofas...beautifully upholstered in this Vanessa Arbuthnott "For the love of Rose"
Very good sturdy frame, decorative with the serpentine and cabriole legs, original French grey paint too.
The dimensions are: 46'' high x 66'' wide x 36'' deep and a standard 17'' seat height.
