We are very pleased to offer this very important English Side Cabinet, made in late Regency/William IV period from fine Cuban ‘fiddleback’ Mahogany. The 5 doors are all fronted with original brass grills having the original silk behind (we have not replaced this, it has some minor wear but unknown which colour preference a client would like). Inside each section are 5 fully adjustable shelves, the wider sections having a shelf depth of 39 cm and the narrower sections 31 cm.
This piece could also be described as a library bookcase. The quality of craftsmanship is the best from the period and the timber likewise.
There are 3 keys present and all the locks are working.
We have re finished the piece to a very high standard so in excellent condition for the home.
