Description

We are offering for sale this large Caithness Desk Clock Paperweight. The Clock/Paperweight has a clear glass top section with layer of controlled bubbles over a deep cobalt blue base and was designed by Alastair MacIntoch in 1995 and came in blue and gold colourways. The dial of the clock is marked Caithness Glass and QUARTZ.

The Caithness Glass Co. Ltd. began in 1961 and started producing paperweights in 1962 after the arrival of Paul Ysart. Colin Terris joined the company in 1968 and became a designer after training under Paul Ysart.

Condition: Excellent condition. There are a few faint scratches on the base from use. Fitted with a new AG4 Battery and in full working order.
