Description

We are offering for sale this lovely pastel portrait of the head of a seal point Siamese cat by the artist J. Paciersynski, who has initialled the pastel JP. This is a very well executed and lifelike portrayal.

This is one of a pair of pastels by this artist that we are listing.

On a label on the back of the old backing board, the artist has named the cat as 'Cameo' and given his or her name and address in Marks Tey, Colchester.

Unfortunately, other than this, we have been able to find no biographical information.

The pastel has been newly double mounted in acid free mountboard to complement and is newly framed in a 1" matte black frame to suit. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
