We are offering for sale this ornately carved giltwood candle stand Standard Lamp with elegant shade from the same makers who provide shades for the Downton Abbey series. The lamp has a circular base with bun feet, carved with fluted leaves, a feature which is carried upwards throughout the entire stem.

The shade is in the 'Ballerina' style and the crown is in gold brocade, the body in cream brocade, with cream fringe, overlaid with amber glass droplets and a matching cream braid. The shape and colour of the shade complements the lamp perfectly.

The brass lampholder, plug and heavy duty .75mm twisted fabric covered flex are all new, but it is recommended that, as with all electrical items, it be PAT tested by an electrican before use.
