Description

We are offering this very attractive Marquetry Picture of a square Emglish Church Clock tower, flying the flag of St. George. There is a thatched cottage to the left, and another clapboard cottage to the right, with a fenced garden in front of it. The panel appears to have a mahogany veneered surround, while the actual picture itself is formed in a quantity of different woods. It may be Italian, for the English market.

The picture will be supplied with new brass hangers, new brass picture wire and will be ready to hang.

Medium: Various woods

Condition: Very good. There are a couple of indentations in the sky area, and two running down from the bushes into the surround.but otherwise it is in very good condition and, because of the variety of the woods, these are barely visible when hung.
