Description

We are pleased to offer for sale this pair of delightful and appealing sepia prints, which have been framed as one, after the artist Franz Dvorak. Franz Dvorak 1862-1927 was a Czech artist, and painted the originals of these prints in 1887, as shown.

The prints depict cherubs, one of which is tickling a frog on a lily pad with a rush and the other is climbing a bullrush, while a frog is watching from below.

The prints have been newly double mounted to complement and are newly framed in a 7/8" toned wooden frame to suit.
