Simon Trinder 1957- Watercolour Trout & Fly
Description
We are pleased to offer for sale this very realistic watercolour of a trout by the artist Simon Timothy Trinder, who has signed the painting in the lower right hand corner S. T. Trinder. The watercolour depicts a trout, possibly a brown trout, curling around while going for a fly. It is close to a lake or river bottom, which is gravelly and has some fine water weed.Simon Timothy Trinder was born in Surrey in July 1957. He is a self-taught artist and has been painting professionally since the mid 1980s. He moved to Norfolk and then to Saxmundham in Suffolk in 1999. He takes his inspiration from the wildlife and countryside around him and has done from a very young age. His watercolour paintings of wildfowl,fish, country landscapes and country sporting pursuits have found worldwide recognition. He has had several sell-out one man exhibitions and there are many examples of his paiintings to be found online. Over 60 of his watercolours have been sold at auction.
The painting is double mounted in two-tone mountboard and is framed in a very nice 1 inch silver gilt frame that suits it very well. It will be supplied with new brass hangers, new brass picture wire and will be ready to hang.
