We are offering for sale this solid brass Door Stop in the shape or a Golfer carrying his own clubs and playing with a companion, or a professional Caddy. The figure is holding the flag in his left hand and has the clubs slung over his shoulder. He has his right hand in his pocket and is wearing boots. The figure stands on an oval brass base. Although the base isn't weighted, the weight of the figure alone, as listed below, would serve to hold the majority of doors.

We found an identical figure which was a fireside companion set and that bore a registered design number, which dated it to 1936
