We are offering this very nice, tall Green Onyx Obelisk Table Lamp, matched with a new beaded Shade, by the makers of the Downton Abbey series table and standard lamp shades, as well as the shades for other TV series..

The lamp has a double stepped square base, with brass trim, ,which is baized to protect the buyer's furniture. This is topped with a suquare vertical column, bopund with brass at top and bottom. There follows another square, rebated section, above which is the reducing column that gives the lamp the shape of an obelisk. There is a small square top section in onyx with brass cap.

The shade is in the Maia style and features a gold fringe, beaded tassels in cream and gold, the whole finished with a green and ivory braid.

The lamp has been rewired with pale gold fabric covered braided flex and has all new fittings, including safer switched lampholder, 3 amp plug and shade carrier. It takes a normal BC bulb up to a maximum 60 W or equivalent. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

ConditionL Very good. There are no chips or nibbles to the onyx. The shade is new.
