We are offering for sale this unusual group of four, very finely cast, Victorian Brass Mantelpiece Ornaments or Decorations. There are three different classical figures of ladies or goddesses in draperies, one holding a cornucopia filled with fruit, the next with a scythe and sheaf of corn and the third watering a plant, with a vase of flowers next to her. All three figures are mounted on rectangular bronze plinths.

As well as these three, there is an all Brass figure of a young boy wearing a hat and carrying a bowl of fruit? in one hand. Walking alongside him is his dog, who is carring in its mouth a cloth containing vegetables or something similar. This one has a weighted lead base, as shown in the photographs.
