Description

We are offering this lovely, late 19th Century, convex, Porcelain Plaque of the Madonna della Sedia or della Seggiola, the original of which was painted by Raphael in 1513/1514 and hangs in the Palazzo Pitti in Firenze (Florence). This unmarked porcelain plaque has a hand painted copy of part of this painting. It is housed in a lovely, pierced Gothic Brass frame with an easel back, as well as a hanging loop, if preferred.
