Description

This is an attractive, adjustable, Edwardian Brass Desk or Students Lamp, although it could be used in many situations.

The lamp features a stepped, circular brass base, which is weighted for added stability, with an upright brass column, terminating in a brass, heart shaped finial. The arm of the shade is adjustable to many positions as it is on an elbow joint, as well as the entire arm assembly being able to rise and fall on the brass column by turning the knurled brass bolt on the other side of the column from the arm..

The reeded glass shade is in frosted glass with with pale amber ends, as shown. It is held in place by a pierced brass gallery with three screws.

The lamp has been rewired with pale antique gold coloured twisted, braided silk covered flex, has a BC lampholder and new gold inline on/off switch and a new plug. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
