Description

This is a lovely rectangular, Victorian, pierced Brass Wall Mirror with a classical mask surmount, with foliate scrolls to either side. The entire frame is made up of foliate scrolls with flambeau corners. There is a further mask finial to the centre base.

The mirror is bevelled and is held in place by a rope twist in brass. The original brass hanging ring is present.

Overall height 17 5/8" - 44.75cm

Width: 10 1/2" - 26.65cm

Mirror Plate: 7" x 4 3/4" - 17.75cm x 12.1cm

Condition: Very good. The original bevelled mirror plate has a tiny loss of silvering to the extremity of the bevel about 3/4 of the way up the left hand side and an even smaller speck to the bottom right hand corner. Other than this the plate is in very good condition.
