This is a very attractive vintage Ceramic Table Lamp from Brights of Nettlebed with a new bespoke shade from the makers of the Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, Mr. Selfridge etc. lampshades.

The base is decorated in the Chinese taste in ecru and sea green and is a baluster vase shape, on a reeded circular plinth, situated upon a square base with curved cut out corners. The vase has a matching cover. The design features four oval panels with blossom, crysanthemums, fir trees and birds.

The shade is in the 'Paris' style and features panels in William Morris design 'Bluebell' in sea green, with the face panels in ecru silk. The fringe is cream overlaid with aqua beaded drops and there are ribbons tassels in cream and taupe on the corners. The shade is trimmed in cream scroll braid.

The lamp has been completely rewired in black fabric covered braided flex in the antique style and has all new fittings, including safer switched lampholder, black 3 amp plug and shade carrier. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Condition: Very good. There is no damage to the lamp and the shade is new.
