Description

This is a very useful late Victorian adjustable height, Brass Candelabra, which we believe to be Dutch. The Candelabra takes two candles and the height is adjustable by 4 1/4". It has a triform base with paw feet, a twist column and the oval that holds the arms is adjustable by means of a thumb screw, as shown. It has wide bobeches and simple sconces. As all parts unscrew, it can easily be disassembled for storage and shippng.

We are offering this single one, but have a very similar matched pair already listed.

Being slender and height adjustable is very helpful at a small dinner table, as it would not get in the way of the person sitting opposite.

Condition: Very good. The thumb screw is in working order and the height adjusts perfectly. The candelabra is clean, unpitted and has only minimal wear from use.
