We are delighted to offer this beautiful, Limoges celadon Porcelain Pate sur PateTable Lamp and new Silk Shade by the makers of the Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, Mr. Selfridge etc. lampshades.

The Lamp base is complete with its main body adorned with the figure of a classical lady wearing draperies on the front, with a floral design on the reverse and, above the ormolu ring between the handles, is the porcelain cap. The lamp bears long, ornamental handles to each side. The shaped ornolu base has four feet,decorated with a floral design. The lamp was converted in the past from an oil lamp and dates to the late 19th Century..

The shade is in the 'Paris' style and the main panels are in ivory silk, with the long narrow panels in celadon coloured silk. The fringe is pale cream, overlaid with aqua beads and the shade is trimmed with a two-tone braid to match.

The lamp has been completely rewired in pale gold braided fabric covered flex and has all new fittings, including a safe switched lampholder, plus and shade carrier. As with all electrical items it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
