We are pleased to offer for sale this very attractive pair of Brass Table Lamps converted from Rococo Revival style candlesticks, with a pair of new bespoke shades from the makers of the Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, Mr. Selfridge etc. lampshades.

The cast brass table lamps are solidly made in the Rococo style and have been converted in the past from a pair of candlesticks.

The shades are in the 'Paris' style and are made of gold brocade, with the corner panels in William Morris 'Snakeshead' pattern in the claret and gold colourway. They feature gold fringe overlaid with ruby and gold beads on the V of the panels, gold braid and ruby coloured, long silky tassels.

The bases have been rewired in antique style soft gold coloured braided fabric covered flex and have all new fittings, including safer switched lampholders, plugs and shade carriers. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that they be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Condition: Very good. The shades are new.
