Description

This is a heavy, Victorian brass Door Stop or Door Porter. It has a stepped, bell shape with an ornamented base section and features a palmetto or fan palm handle. It is weighted to the base with cast iron, as shown, and bears the impressed number 11375 on both the iron base and on the inside of the brass handle.

Condition: Very good. The stop has a few minor nicks consistent with age and use.
