Description

These are a pair of 19th Century Brass & Black Metal Reeded UrnTable Lamps, originally, in our opinion, garnitures, which have been converted into table lamps some time ago. The shades are from the same company that made the lampshades for Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge, Peaky Blinders, Adele's Tour etc.

They feature a square brass base, on four ornate scroll feet, with a central female mask to the centre front. The Metal urns are raised upon a reeded plinth and a circular socle and sit in reeded cups. They have twin stylised phoenix handles and the brass cover has embossed male masks, leaves and flowers.

The shades are in the 'Ballerina' style, and are made from gold brocade, with gold braid, and gold fringe overlaid with ivory and gold beads.

The lamps have been completely rewired in black fabric covered braided flex and have safer switched lampholders, shade carriers and black plug. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that they be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
