Description

We are offering this elegant Brass Corinthian Column table lamp with a new shade by the company that made all the lampshades for Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge, Peaky Blinders etc. The lamp is the base of a 19th Century oil lamp, now converted to electricity.

The Corinthian Column has a stepped base, a circular socle topped with a black reeded column surmounted by a brass capital.

The shade is in the 'Ballerina' style and is made in black moire silk, with gold fringe, black and gold braid and black and gold beaded tassels.

The lamp has been rewired with black braided flex and has all new fittings, including a safer switched lampholder, black plug and shade carrier. We recommend that, as with all electrical items, it should be checked by a qualified electrician before use. It takes a standard BC light bulb.
