Description

We are pleased to offer for sale this Victorian Mahogany Lazy Susan, which is in good condition and in full working order. It has a lipped mahogany tray top, which is on a baluster stem and turned foot. The base is covered with baize.

A Lazy Susan is a turntable (rotating tray) placed on a table or countertop to aid in distributing food. Lazy Susans may be made from a variety of materials but are usually glass, wood, or plastic. They are usually circular and placed in the center of a circular table to share dishes easily among diners.

Material: Mahogany

Condition: Very good. There is one tiny nick to the rim and one to the tray, but otherwise the surface polish is in very good condition consistent with age and use and has been rewaxed and polished.
