We are pleased to offer for sale this Onyx & Brass Corinthian Column Table Lamp, together with its new Silk Brocade Shade by the makers of the Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge, etc. TV Series lampshades.

The base is a square of pale onyx with green and terracotta coloured veining, supported on four ornate paw feet, with a well cast capital on top of the reeded brass column.

The shade is in the 'Ballerina' style in terracotta Silk Brocade, with a plain gold crown, gold and terracotta braid, gold fringe and terracotta tassels.

The lamp has been completely rewired in gold antique style braided fabric covered flex and has all new fittings, including a safer switched lampholder and shade carrier. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Condition: Very good. There are no chips to the onyx. The shade is new.
