We are pleased to offer this quality pair of solid brass corinthian column table lamps and silk shades from the makers of the Downton Abbey TV series lampshades. Please note that there are two options for the placement of the shades on the bases, they can either echo shape of the base, with the four corners in line with the corners of the bases, or with the corners lined up with the column. It is a matter of personal taste and we have shown both options in the photographs.

The bases were made by Christopher Wray, London when they were making traditional lighting and are of very good quality, as would be expected. They have stepped, reeded bases, reeded columns and ornate capitals.

The shades are in the new 'Murano' style and are made of gold silk brocade, with 6 inch gold fringe, gold and black braid and are finished with three black and gold beaded tassels on the four corners.

The lamps have been rewired with antique gold silk covered flex and have new plugs and fittings. As with all electrical items it is recommended that they be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
