We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely Arts & Crafts Brass & Copper Fender with Ruskin Cabochons. The fender has a central planished copper panel with Art Nouveau repousse decoration and a central ceramic cabochon in shades of green and brown. The two side panels are in planished brass with similar decoration and cabochons. The corners are overlaid with copper and shaped and riveted. The two end panels are in planished copper with a repousse copper cabochon to mimic the front panels.

Condition: Very good for its age. The fender has all the little knocks and dents commensurate with age and use and the right hand cabochon has been cracked and chipped at some stage, as it appears to have been repaired, although this is only visible on close inspection (see photo 5).
