Description

This is a lovely Ormolu Table Lamp and frosted glass Flambeau Shade which is probably French. The base has a putto or cherub, wearing drapery and holding a posy of flowers in each hand, seated upon a rocky mound upon a rococo base. There is a foliate stem to the back of the putto which terminates in a foliate drip pan and foliate and beaded sconce.

The lamp has been rewired with twisted silk covered flex and has a new inline switch and new plug. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by an electrician before use.

Height to top of shade: 15 5/8" - 39.65cm

Width of base: 5 1/4" - 13.25cm

Depth of base: 4 5/8" - 11.25cm

Condition: Very good. There is no damage to the glass flambeau shade.
